# Comic Therapy: A Journey in Creativity and Self-Discovery

Chapter 1: The Comic Strip Dream

Creating a comic strip has always been a dream of mine, one that I initially pursued when I began my art journey in 1980. Over the past 42 years, I've engaged in various artistic endeavors, yet I never quite got around to making that comic strip. Unfortunately, during this time, the comic strip industry faced significant challenges. Most series comics now exist primarily online, often available for free. This realization made me contemplate the possibility of finally entering the comic realm. After all, how could I ignore the chance to participate in an industry that offers a grand prize of tens or even hundreds of dollars annually? The temptation is too great to overlook.

This marks the early stages of my exploration. I’m currently developing the art style, characters, and narrative—essentially everything. In today’s world, these initial phases of what were once private artistic pursuits are shared online publicly, which is why I’m eager to showcase my progress.

This project could take a wild turn, perhaps featuring time-traveling bonobos navigating a fast-paced future filled with brain-implanted advertising. I welcome your thoughts and feedback! I’m eager to hear what resonates and what doesn’t. Sharing early drafts like this can be both enjoyable and valuable. Additionally, I’m uncertain about how to launch this project, so please reach out if you have any ideas!
