Unlocking the Secrets of Medium Boost Nominators

Chapter 1: Understanding the Boost Nominators
In a previous article featuring CEO Tony Stubblebine, we discussed the puzzling nature of Medium Boost nominators. Stubblebine acknowledged the need for greater clarity on this topic and pledged to enhance transparency.
Recently, he delivered on that promise! In a new Medium Blog post, over 100 Boost Nominators from the Boost Nomination Pilot have agreed to reveal their identities for the benefit of the writing community. These individuals tirelessly sift through submissions to uncover the next exceptional story.
Feel free to utilize this information as you see fit. Based on my experiences, fostering personal connections with nominators can be an effective strategy to get your work in front of the right audience that has the power to boost it.
However, I want to clarify that I'm not suggesting you bombard those on this list with subpar content filled with errors and lacking substance. Instead, I encourage you to explore this list, discover new publications, and submit your finest pieces.
It’s noteworthy that nominations from the Boost Nomination Pilot participants represent only about half of the stories that receive a Boost. The other half is sourced directly by our internal curation team, who diligently review countless stories from across Medium on a daily basis. For further insights on what happens to your story post-publication and how curators evaluate submissions, check out their training manual.
And for those who appreciate an organized list, here it is—an alphabetical roster of proud nominators by publication.
Tip: To submit your work for consideration, be sure to check the submission guidelines on the publication’s homepage.
