Empowering Your Life: The Illusion of Reality and Support

Understanding the Illusion of Reality
Have you ever noticed how a stack of green cubes appears to extend into the third dimension? While we know it's an illusion, it still seems convincingly real.
It often frustrates me when people assert things like "traveling is so stressful" or "nobody ever helps me." My observation is that we, as humans, often channel our creative energy into manifesting experiences we wish to avoid!
I understand how challenging it can be to shift this mindset; I, too, have struggled for years to dismiss my negative beliefs. They seemed more powerful than my will to change them, primarily because I invested so much emotional energy in them.
The more I focused on my discomfort in trying to fight it, the more I reinforced my belief that I was unsupported. The narrative "nobody helps me" became a self-fulfilling prophecy. I found myself continually surrounded by situations that reinforced this perception, leading to the belief that reality was indeed unsupportive.
Section 1.1: Breaking the Cycle
When I convinced myself that "I am not supported," it also made me feel unloved, which stunted my self-confidence and hindered my successes. This false belief felt tangible, rooted in past experiences when I truly felt abandoned.
It's crucial to recognize that when we cling to the idea that we will always face the same struggles, it often stems from unresolved pain from our past. We essentially allow our past to dictate our present, perpetuating a cycle of negativity.
Subsection 1.1.1: The Path to Healing
How did I begin to heal my old wounds?
- I started by acknowledging whatever feelings arose, allowing them to surface. This conscious acknowledgment brought my hidden emotions into the light.
- Once aware, I could no longer deny these feelings; they had been recognized. By ceasing to hide from the discomfort, I surrendered to the present.
- I embraced the uncomfortable emotions, allowing myself to feel them fully. It was okay; they posed no real threat. They simply sought acknowledgment!
- I surrendered control, letting life unfold naturally rather than resisting or manipulating outcomes.
Do you see the power in this approach? It’s akin to accepting the rain instead of getting upset about it.
- I also began to visualize what it felt like to be supported, encouraged, and guided.
- Consequently, I no longer pushed away support. I learned to appreciate and accept the compliments and encouragement I now receive more freely.
